Indian Air Force was officially established on 8 October 1932.Its first ac flight came into being on 01 Apr 1933.  It possessed a strength of six RAF-trained officers and 19 Havai Sepoys (literally, air soldiers).   The aircraft inventory comprised of four West land Wapiti IIA army co-operation biplanes at Drigh Road as the “A” Flight nucleus of the planned No.1 (Army Co- operation) Squadron.

Job Details
Qualification For Group ‘X’ (Technical) : Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Mathematics, Physics and English with a minimum of 50% marks in aggregate. OR Three year Diploma Course in Engineering (Mechanical or Electrical or Electronics or Automobile or Computer Science or Instrumentation Technology or Information Technology) with at least 50% marks in overall aggregate from a Government recognized Polytechnic Institute.Qualification For Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) : Candidate should have passed Intermediate or 10+2 or equivalent examination with Science, Arts or Commerce subjects or equivalent vocational courses with minimum 50% marks in aggregate. Vocational course should be recognized by Association of Indian Universities. OR Three year Diploma in any stream of Engineering from a Government recognised Polytechnic Institute. 

Age Limit : 18 years. Candidates should be born between 01 July 1991 to 30 September 1995
Payscale : Rs. 8,550/-

 

How To Apply
The Recruitment Test will be conducted from 7 AM onwards as per the details given below. Candidates reporting up to 10 AM at the Rally Venue. Test for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades and Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, Ground Training Instructor, Indian Air Force (Police) & Musician} trades will be held at Tripura Sports School Badharghat, Agartala (Tripura) from 26 July 2012 to 02 August 2012.
Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Interview for Group ‘X’ (Technical) trades : 26 July 2012.
Trade Allocation Test (TAT) and Medical Examination : 27 July 2012
Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P) & Musician} trades : 28 July 2012
Interview and Medical Examination: 29 July 2012
Written Test, Physical Fitness Test (PFT) for Group ‘Y’ (Non-Technical) {Except Automobile Technician, GTI, IAF (P) & Musician} trades : 30 July 2012
