The Delhi govt plans to recruit approx 1,000 Urdu instructors, an official said on Monday.
“The govt has sent an offer for recruiting around 1,000 Urdu instructors to directorate to Education ,” said the official.
Besides, the govt will sponsor 100 Urdu language instructors and the process has already started, the official said.
“This decision was made in a conference where education minister ( Arvinder Singh Lovely) indicated his discomfort over the unfilled seats of Urdu language teachers in schools,” the official said
There are 21 Urdu medium schools in the capital, which Lovely said will be improved to class 12.
It was also made the decision to acquire around 2 lakh super modern desks for the state government-run schools.
