The exam was held on PGET held on March 3.

Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences is a unitary university set up in 1996 by the government of Karnataka, India, for the regulation and promotion of higher education in health sciences throughout the state of Karnataka.

The Supreme Court allowed the declaration of results for medical entrance examination conducted by private medical colleges.

The verdict was reached on May 13, 2013.

The Supreme Court has stated that NEET will be a voluntary exam. This means that medical institutes will follow common medical test only if they want to. This is interim arrangement.

The results will be declared at 11 am and 3 pm according to the official sources. The exam is conducted by Council of Indian School Certificate Examination (CISCE).

Around 1.5 lakh students appeared for the ICSE exam and  approximately 60,000 for the ISC exam this year.

The Class 10 exam had started on February 27 while Class 12 exams started on February 4.

The Council was established in 1958 by the University of Cambridge Local Examinations Syndicate to ensure that its examinations become adapted to the educational needs of the country and assign the ultimate control of the same on the council. The council was registered as a Society under the Societies Registration Act XXI of 1860 on 19 December, 1967.

NEET-UG is the entrance exam for students who seeking admission to BDS and MBBS.

Students can view their OMR on CBSE’s website on the last week of May. Results for NEET-UG are expected in the first week of June.

The board will also give students a chance to let the board know if they have been marked wrongly.

NEET-UG had a few controversial questions for which answers will be declared online.

Those who want a re-evaluation of their papers will have to pay Rs 1000. They will get a refund if the board is found to be wrong.

NEET-UG had three papers – Biology, Chemistry and Physics. Biology had 90 questions, while Physics and Chemistry had 45 questions.

Meanwhile, there has been no further development in the NEET-PG verdict at the Supreme Court.

How to check results:

Students can check their results on Rajasthan Board official results portal, http://rajresults.nic.in.

To check the results via SMS type RESULT(space)RAJ12C(space)ROLL NUMBER and send to 56263.

Students are advised to be patient while checking their results as sites may be busy.

Students would be able to collect their mark sheets from the Student Service Centres from Wednesday onwards. These student service centres are at Government Girls Higher Secondary School, Meera Marg, Banipark in Jaipur, Government Higher Secondary School in Bharatpur, Government Higher Secondary School in Churu, Government Girls Higher Secondary School in Jodhpur, Sardul Government Higher Secondary School in Bikaner, Guru Gobind Singh Senior Secondary School in Udaipur, and Secondary Education Board Office in Ajmer.

Both the IITs and NITs have decided that students must choose either an IIT or an NIT or they will not get admission to the institute.

The counselling process for IIT and NIT will be independent of each other this year.

Previously, students would pay the admission fees for seats in both institutes and then drop out last minute when the session would start.

This led to over 300 seats vacant across 15 IITs in 2012.

JEE (Main) 2013 results are expected today at 4 pm. About 1.5 lakh students out of the 10.5 lakh students sitting for the exam will proceed to sit for JEE (Advanced) exam.

A list of the qualifying students will be posted on the IIT Delhi website.

Age Limit: Only those candidates, born between 02-07-1995 to 01-01-1998 can apply.
Educational Qualifications: Educational Qualification Criteria is given below
  • For National Defence Academy: For Army wing, Applicants must have passed the 12th Class . For Naval and Air Force wings, applicants must have passed the 12th Class, with Physics and Math, as a compulsory subject.
  • For Naval Academy: Candidates falling under the 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme.

Note: Candidates who are appearing or awaiting the Results of 12th Class can also apply.

Selection Process: The Selections consists of Written test, which is followed by Psychological Aptitude Test and Intelligence Test, SSB Interview.
